A garden-led floral design studio built on the belief that every bloom tells a story, and every brand should too.
Challenge
The floristry market is saturated with digital-first, disposable options that prioritise convenience over craft. Ange needed a visual identity that could stand firmly apart from the mechanical aesthetic of supermarket competitors, while also feeling grounded, professional, and ready to support physical touchpoints like a flower stand, packaging, and market stall signage. The challenge was to build something that felt genuinely artisanal, warm, optimistic, and rooted in the countryside, without veering into the generic "rustic florals" territory that dominates the category.
Solutions
We built the identity around the concept of the full lifecycle, from seed in the soil to bloom in the hand. At the heart of the mark is a bespoke sunflower icon that shifts in meaning the longer you look at it: a single carefully tended bloom, a rising sun over rolling countryside hills, and a cradle-shaped bouquet wrap. Each layer reinforces Ange's story of home-grown, full-cycle floristry.
The hand-lettered script wordmark in Thirsty Rough Bold brings a personal, artisanal quality that no mass-market brand could replicate, balanced by the clean, friendly weight of Poppins for supporting text. The "ESTD 2020" detail was deliberately included to position the brand as an established, heritage-rooted business with history and credibility.
The colour strategy leads with Muted Olive and warm Butter Cream, a grounded, natural canvas that never competes with the flowers themselves, supported by Sunflower Gold, Sunset Orange, Petal Pink and Sky Blue as a secondary palette. The multicolour stripe brand pattern uses all palette colours rhythmically, ensuring the brand visually harmonises with any floral arrangement it accompanies. The result is a brand identity that feels as warm, considered, and full of life as the flowers Ange creates.
